Before taking Co-codamol tablets, consider the following:
- Allergy: Do not take Co-codamol tablets if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients, such as paracetamol or codeine, or other opioids.
- Medical Conditions: Consult your doctor if you have severe renal or hepatic issues, asthma or other lung infections, a history of drug abuse, are on therapy with MAO inhibitors, have a habit of alcoholism, have recently undergone gall bladder surgery, or if you are under 12 years of age.
- Interaction with Other Medications: Inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the medications you are currently taking, including antipsychotics, antidepressants, sedatives, hypnotics, antihistamines, medicines for high blood pressure, atropine, warfarin, cimetidine, loperamide, isoniazid, naloxone, cisapride, and others.

How to take Co-codamol tablets?
When taking Co-codamol tablets, follow your doctor’s or pharmacist’s instructions:
- Dosage: Take one to two tablets of Co-codamol 30/500 mg at an interval of 4-6 hours. Do not exceed 8 tablets in 24 hours.
- Missed Dose: If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, but ensure at least a 4-hour interval before your next dose.
